I'm sorry if this is in the wrong place but I wanted to let all the US peeps know that "America's best dance crew", on MTV. It airs every thursday.
There are five dance crew's and they will be covering Thriller next week. Granted it is not Michael himself but the dance crew's will be picking a song off of Thriller.
These dancers are amazing so it will be awesome to see them dance to MJ's Music.

Yeah, I love how little by little, singers, actors - celebrities in general - and anybody on TV endorses Michael Jackson. :) Maybe it`s like a BIG plan. Michael is paying them to use his music and dances, and too mention him everywhere so that he is attracted to newer fans.

Wait, Michael doesn`t need to pay ANYBODY for that! He is amazing enough. He doesn`t need that. Lol.

You know, I've actually wondered about this time to time in the past couple months. Because sure T25 is out, but I feel like I've heard more of Michael and felt his presence in the entertainment scene A LOT more in the past few months than I have in a very long time. And the thing is his people are talking about him and isn't even around or seen! Now that's buzz for "nothing" essentially, and certainly seems like an interesting PR move on the part of MJ's team :hmm:. So if there were some big plan going on in the works, I wouldn't be surprised :).

As for the show, man I thought those dancers killed it. I was so ecstatic to watch this episode. And by now I've downloaded the performances and have watched them over & over again. They are so. sick. *_* I thought the Jabbawockeez were the best, but I thought Kaba Modern & Brksk8 were really awesome too. I actually loved Fysh n' Chicks too. Thought what they did was appropriate for Billie Jean. In fact, that goes for all the groups. They definitely got the essence of the songs down. What was so awesome about all their performances was how they incorporated Mike's moves but kept their own styles. Cuz when Shane Sparks said that they're the future, I definitely believed it. And when Lil Mama told the Jabba that she felt like she was watching MJ but never forgot she was watching them - I mean, how cool is that? :coolies: Especially in a day & age when so many artists (*coughUsher&JT&ChrisBrowncough*) just straight up rip MJ's moves sometimes, it was nice seeing something where the source of inspiration is made clear, and they're more just paying homage. And the songs were remixed so cool - I wish they were made for release! They sounded kind of revitalized in a way. And gosh, this episode was just teeming with so much MJ *love* - that was definitely a great thing to watch =). I just hope MJ saw it because I think he would really enjoy it, & maybe even draw some inspiration from it the same way all the dancers on the show did from him. I think the only way the episode could've been better would be if MJ were there himself to come out & compliment these dancers (which would never ever happen, but I just like the idea of it  ).

By the way, I'm new here. I dunno if there is a newbie thread or anything, So hello :).

More Michael mentionings from America's best Dance Crew:

Jackson’s best dancers thrill Boston audience

By Lauren Carter | Saturday, September 27, 2008 | http://www.bostonherald.com | Arts & Culture

The way fans were screaming, it could’ve been Michael Jackson dancing onstage.

In reality, it was Randy Jackson Presents America’s Best Dance Crew Live, the traveling version of the popular MTV show that turns street dance teams into national stars.

Thursday night’s live rendition of the program was a testament to both the talent of the respective crews and the power of reality TV.

A not-quite-capacity audience at the Citi Wang Theatre bought, waved and proudly wore T-shirts supporting their favorite crew and showered dancers with the adoration usually reserved for megastars.

No one seemed to mind that “American Idol” judge Jackson wasn’t at the show himself. Still, the 100-minute live performance was worthy of a small frenzy. It took the best elements of the MTV show - namely, dancing - and trashed the annoying ones, such as lengthy judge commentary, drawn-out back stories and over-long elimination rounds.

The dance crews - respective season one and two winners JabbaWockeeZ and Super Cr3w, and runners-ups Fanny Pak, A.S.I.I.D. and BreakSk8 - burned calories with a minimum of unnecessary interruptions.

Each team leaped, locked and lurched to hip-hop and pop tracks, showing off coordinated costumes and moves in a nonstop onslaught that gave the show the feel of a raucous rap concert - without all the weed smoke.

Teams later mixed and matched onstage for an “Evolution of Street Dance” segment that highlighted the art of break-dancing and back-in-the-day fashion, including gaudy gold chains, track suits and LL Cool J-approved Kangol hats.

An ode to Janet and Michael Jackson re-created some of their greatest hits, including “P.Y.T.,” “If,” “Rhythm Nation” and “Beat It.” A mock dance-fighting segment pitted the teams against each other, ending with a simulated slo-mo interlude.

Each crew was clearly talented - and apparently tireless - but most interesting was crowd favorite JabbaWockeeZ. With their expressionless, white masks and slinky shifting, they looked like a cross between mimes and serial killers, and danced like extraterrestrials not subject to the laws of gravity.

Though their ode to the future of dance lacked appeal, watching these specialists in synchronization don afros and butterfly collared shirts during a tribute to the Jackson 5’s “Dancing Machine” was enthralling.

Whether or not the dance crews are actually America’s best is still up for discussion. But it was a thrill to watch the squads slide, tumble and spin amid an endless parade of costumes and musical selections.

If this is the result of Randy Jackson’s magic touch, he should consider waving his wand the next time the American Idols Live tour rolls around.

RANDY JACKSON PRESENTS AMERICA’S BEST DANCE CREW

At the Citi Wang Theatre, Thursday night.
