for me that was a bad thrillercast. she even admitted although she is a singer that she doesnt look to michael jackson for singing inspiration, only on a dance/entertainment level. it sounded like the only experience she even had with MJ was that Thriller performance she did when she was 5, and she talked about the song thriller like 3 times, and pretty much nothing else, lol.

PS. This podcast has to be one of my favs so far- it's great- about 17 mins, but it's done by a guy who wrote a bio about Michael- he gets right into how a lot of artists really benefited from Thriller and Thriller's impact- I am definitely impressed with this one. :yes:

In my opinion a very weak effort. We have all heard this before. Its from Thriller Special Edition. Nothing new. And they only used half of the stuff from the Thriller SE. Pretty sad really. Quincy is the producer of this freakin' album and THAT 6 minutes was the BEST they could come up with? Damn, that sucks, it really really sucks.. :(

It does really really suck. :wot: They have a 40-part Thrillercast to get through, and already on their 11th one, they are cutting and pasting. I hope the next one is better :)

Podcasts are basically talking or informational type things- with the Thriller ones, it's celebrities talking about how Thriller influenced them or affected them in some way, how it inspired them , what their reaction was when Thriller first came out, etc. :)

Interesting that the Boogaloos are now taking credit for the concept of Beat It. Michael's always said he created that... and has always been credited for the concept.

I feel like as time goes on, the Boogaloos take more credit for stuff. :lol:

But I do like the rest of what they said about the videos and stuff- it's a great podcast. :)

i don't think Herbie and Mike ever collaborated, and i know i'd knock off some of the musicians MJ's worked with before to make space for Herbie. hopefully they'll come to their senses one day.
