Its only been online like a week. No work from it. Have trouble finding work coz no agencies will represent me and you cant find work without one because all jobs wanna know who represent you. Say "no one" you get thrown in the bin!

I dont need to fake a resume, ive done some BIG performances. I performed on the opening of an international kickboxing event live on fox sports once haha and a few others... the problem is FINDING these jobs, which an agent would do... but getting the AGENT is the problem. :(

Hi, Damien!

I'm new around these parts, I just checked out your videos and thought I'd chime in seeing as how you're asking for people's opinions. Overall, I'm VERY impressed with your dancing and the superb production you have around you in your performances (man, even the clothing, which looks just like the real thing!). :-)

In fact, you really do look the part amazingly well, I think you're awesome! However, I get the feeling you're looking for some constructive feedback and I don't think you've gotten much here so far, other than well-deserved praise.

As a former MJ impersonator years ago (I did it from 95-00 approximately, performing live thru official fan club events and all that, and won 1st place on the only two MJ dance contests I ever entered), I'd like to give you my opinion (plus, I DO still dance all the time, just not performing like I used to with the fan club 'cause I moved).

The only advice I feel I can give you, or suggestion, is to remember not to fall into the typical rookie mistake of copying the moves as you see them on the TV screen directly in front of you 'cause you end up doing lots of moves backwards (remember, Mike's RIGHT is your LEFT), so when you spin towards the right after moonwalking, or kick with the wrong leg it just ends up looking weird to me.

Then again, that may be 'cause I do it and most people probably won't notice that stuff. But I do remember making a point of it, back in the day when learning the initial choreographies with my fellow fan club members, to reverse everything we saw so that it would look right to the audience and not reversed. It's like, when you see yourself in the mirror it looks right to you, but remember that's BACKWARDS. Know what I mean?

Other than that, I'd say to try and make your jumps a little higher (raise your legs a bit more) like during the billie jean bits (it's almost like gravity's pulling you down too soon), and try to maybe be a little less "electric" and more fluid and graceful at times.

Most of the time (especially during your moonwalking, side-ways moonwalking and slo-mo gravity spins) you pull it off BEAUTIFULLY so I know you've got that graceful touch in you, but there's just a few other times it didn't come off quite right and seemed slightly stiff to me, so try to loosen it up a bit when it applies.

But just to clarify: in no way am I trying to say I'm better than you or ANYTHING like that, so PLEASE don't think that. I think you're a brilliant dancer, I'm just trying to be helpful and suggest what IN MY OPINION are small things you could tweak to hone your craft, and I truly admire everything you've accomplished in this.

I know NONE OF US well EVER be truly as good as Mike himself (who actually CREATED that wonderful style we try so hard to emulate) but we can still honor him by dancing to his music and using his moves, and continue to enjoy the heck out of it while we're at it!!!!

Keep up the fantastic work, dude, and NEVER stop dancing 'cause, like I said, I think you're VERY very talented and you pull it off brilliantly! ;-)

Thanks alot i very much appreciate your feedback. Exactly what im looking for.:)

As for the oppositeness haha, ill explain. I am a footballer, and naturally since i was a kid i have been kicking a ball with my left foot. Its my dominant foot. Therefor i get the best balance out of spining with it, more natural reflex by kicking with it, and i am better suited to sidegliding the opposite way because of it.

I in fact can do all the moves, for example from Billie Jean, the correct way 100%.. and also the WRONG way 100%.. the way i will perform it on stage is what comes most natural. The reason i did this, instead of concentrating on doing ALL the moves same direction as Mike, is because his pholosophy is "dont think, the worst thing you can do as a dancer is to think".. so if im gliding right to left instead of left to right, i wont fix it, because otherwise i will be thinking. If that makes sense...

But yeah i cant wait to finally get a new clip online. Like, the Billie Jean clip above is from 2005! So i am excited to see myself what i move like now. Ive been rehearsing every day, but you can never tell until you see it on film:) Soon, we all will see i on film coz im gonna pimp the new clip out to the max! haha

If you like this one hopefully you will like my new video even more. I am gonna organise filming it within the next month in a dance hall on a stage privately just to show people (and myself) where i'm at dance wise these days. The reason is because its hard to know what areas to improve on unless you film yourself performing. You can think you're doing a good job and when you watch it back it may look wrong, so that helps you improve. I should do it more often actually:) If you subscribe to my channel you will be notified when new clips are added!

Actually, thanks for explaining the "oppositeness", now I get it  I understand, you wanna do it the way it feels most comfortable to you so you don't have to think about it, and that makes sense.

I gotta say, I can't wait to check out your new video clip once you have it, I'm totally lookin' forward to seeing how far you've come! No doubt you must be quite the perfectionist to have gotten this good already, so I'm sure you're gonna KILL it!
