HAY GUYS HAVEN'T BEEN A MEMBER HERE VERY LONG SO DON'T KNOW IF GUYS TALK ALL JACKSON OR JUST MICHAEL :) BUT HERE IS SOMETHING I FOUND WHICH I THOUGHT U'S WOULD LIKE:

Plans to build a museum honouring pop's first family, the JACKSONS, in their native Gary, Indiana have been put on hold as the troubled clan fix a series of financial issues.

Longtime former family guru-turned-biographer Phoenix insists Michael Jackson and his kin still plan on creating a memorabilia-packed centre in their hometown - but want to be clear of bad publicity when they launch it.

He says, "I'm still in touch with the Jacksons and this is something that will happen. Due to some problems, they've had to postpone that and concentrate on other things.

"Once they iron out all their current problems, they'll move forward with that. It's still on the cards."

But Phoenix urges fans not to believe everything they read or hear about the Jacksons' financial struggles: "Financially, they're doing fine. They're not the multi-millionaires that they used to be, but they're all doing fine."

THE JACKSONS RECEIVE BMI AWARD

At the BMI Urban Awards The Jacksons were crowned icons on Thursday. Janet Jackson presented her brothers with the lifetime achievement BMI Icon award. Tito, Jackie, Marlon and Randy accepted the award, while Jermaine and Michael didn't attend the ceremony.

When Marlon was asked about his brother Michael before the show started he joked:

"I don't know. I think he's in Egypt riding a camel or something."

The tribute kicked off with dance troupe Jabbawockeez performing a funky "Dancing Machine" routine. Music group ONE sang "I Want You Back", while JoJo and Lloyd partnered on "I'll Be There" before Mario performed a rendition of "Heartbreak Hotel" and Keri Hilson performed "Who's Loving You." The finale featured Mario, Bobby Valentino, Lloyd and Ray J teaming up for "Never Can Say Goodbye." The Jacksons did not perform.

Before presenting her brothers with the award, Janet Jackson said her family was her greatest commodity and that she was proud to salute her siblings for their accomplishments in the music industry.

Afterwards, the Jackson brothers posed for photos with mother Katherine, father Joseph, and sisters Rebbie, LaToya, and Janet. Tito said about the award:

"It's a great honor to know your music influenced a generation. We're very proud of this moment."

WILLIAM HALL WINS IMITATOR CONTEST

Michael Jackson impersonator William Hall from California, USA won the impersonator contest on German TV channel SAT.1!

The star imitator contest named 'Lebe Deinen Star!' (Live Your Star) featured in two episodes 12 of the best national and international imitators of famous stars such as Elvis, ABBA, Tina Turner, and of course Michael Jackson. They competed for the crown of becoming the king of tribute acts worldwide and winning €25.000. Winners were voted by the viewers.

In the first round, which took place last week, 6 of the 12 imitiators were eliminated by viewer voting. The other 6 were invited again yesterday to perform and sing live. These were imitators of Elvis Presley, Tina Turner, Bon Jovi, Udo Lindenberg, Amy Winehouse, and Michael Jackson.

In the first round William Hall sang 'Your Are Not Alone' - with his vocals indeed being pretty close to the original. Then in the final he performed 'Billie Jean' and in the end was able to beat the excellent Elvis Presley imitator by receiving 40% off all votes.

Congratulations to William Hall!

JACKSON TO PURCHASE ISLAND IN IRELAND?

It is not quite Neverland, but there have been reports that Michael Jackson may be moonwalking his way to an island off the County Donegal coast.

It is no secret that the singer has an affection for the emerald isle, but the locals in Port Noo have been taken by surprise at the news that members of his team have expressed an interest in buying Inishkeel Island.

Martina Barrett’s family owns part of the tiny island and said that the newspaper stories had caused quite a stir in the town.

“Our family only owns half of the island, so it is the other half of the island that is on the market.”

She said that while the island was beautiful there was no planning permission for it and no way of living on it.

“I’m not quite sure what his plans would be.”

The island is near Port Noo and the only structures on the island are the remains of churches.

For a man who values his privacy as much as the singer Martina said the island may not be quite remote enough.

“Whenever the tide’s out you can walk to it - so there is a huge amount of tourists that would visit the island on a daily basis when the tide allows them during the summer months so he wouldn’t be hidden away.”

One source in the printed edition of The Daily Mirror states that "Michael Jackson is deadly serious and has always wanted to own land in Ireland. He has an idea that it would be a perfect place for him to start an organic farm and also a great hideaway to take his kids on trips.
It's completely surrounded by water and has breathtaking views of the Donegal coast so Michael is completely in love with the idea."

Last year, according to the paper, Michael Jackson stated: "I love the whole idea of living off the land in an organic way. I love everything about the place. I love the farming and the beautiful lush land. It's a truly magical place."

According the source: "Michael Jackson's people called this week and expressed their interest. He's obviously planning to come back to Ireland and likes the idea of having some land. He doesn't want to build a big home there, it's just somewhere to relax and get away from it all with his kids and maybe make a bit of money from the farming side of things."

The property is approximately 57 acres in size, and would cost a minimum of $560,000 to purchase.

US pop singer Janet Jackson was released from a Montreal hospital just two hours after she arrived, a spokeswoman for the facility says, but it is still not clear why she was admitted.

The 42-year-old singer became "suddenly ill" and was taken to Royal Victoria Hospital on Monday night shortly before her scheduled concert in Montreal, which was cancelled, according to a statement released by W&W Public Relations.

Jackson was at Royal Victoria but was released two hours later, said Rebecca Burns, representative for McGill University Health Centre, which runs the hospital. Representatives for Jackson would not elaborate on her condition on Tuesday, simply saying that she was ill and was "recuperating".

Meanwhile, Jackson's shows in Boston and Philadelphia on Wednesday and Thursday were postponed and she was due to resume her tour in Greensboro, North Carolina, on Saturday. There was no information on when those shows would be rescheduled.

Jackson, who is on her first North American tour in seven years, dropped out of her scheduled Saturday Night Live performance in March because she had the flu, and her publicist said at the time that she went to the hospital for treatment but was not admitted.
