View Full Version : [RUMOUR] Madonna to Work on Michael's New Album
MJMoonwalker 14th July 2008, 11:48 AM Ok guys, i don't know if this is true or not, but last night when i was at work i was listening to my local radio staion and they played Human nature and then the lady came bk and said what the song was caalled, then she said there was rumours going around that Madonna is to work on mike new album and also said New kids on the bloke witch we knew bout that anyway.
Tony R 14th July 2008, 11:52 AM Doubt it even more than the New Kids one.
Is there anyone who hasn't been rumoured for this project? Everyone from Leona Lewis to New Kids to Madonna.
A duet would be great though...
damien 14th July 2008, 11:56 AM are people still givin the new kids rumour credit? yeeesh.
MJMoonwalker 14th July 2008, 11:59 AM I don't get Madonna b/c bk then she was making fun of mike and now she wants to work with him, if it was true.
Tony R 14th July 2008, 12:03 PM Christ. She hasn't made fun of Mike. If we wiped every person off the face of the earth who made the odd negative comment. It would look like the set of 'I Am Legend'.
Madonna is the sort of person he should collaborate with. Someone on a par fame-wise, someone with talent and most importantly someone with longevity rather than a fly-by-night star that I imagine Akon will be.
MJMoonwalker 14th July 2008, 12:06 PM so i guess u havnt seen the footage bk in the 90s, where she was makin fun of him b/c how he looked and dressed like.
Tony R 14th July 2008, 12:09 PM Don't care. Like me, for every comment that could be deemed as negative, she's made countless positive ones.
She may have made fun of his dress & appearance, but so what? Most importantly, she kept her mouth shut whenever asked about the allegations as she knew nothing about them.
Ellie 14th July 2008, 12:11 PM Her comments back then were funny though. Funny and true. No one is above a good ragging for their hideous dress sense
Madonna collaboration? Doubt it. Don't think it would even work either.
Chell 14th July 2008, 12:15 PM It probably won't happen. It'd be awesome if it did though.
Tony R 14th July 2008, 12:16 PM Her comments back then were funny though. Funny and true. No one is above a good ragging for their hideous dress sense
Madonna collaboration? Doubt it. Don't think it would even work either.
Yeah, her Prince collab was pretty bad.
Ellie 14th July 2008, 12:29 PM Oh dear, don't even remind me of Love Song.
damien 14th July 2008, 12:30 PM I dont think it would work in the sense that Madonna isnt totally involved in the creation of her own music. She lets her producers create all the music on their own and just comes in to witness the final product... well, at least that is what she did on Hard Candy. She even admitted it on a documentry with Timbaland. He played her a half made demo of the track and she told him she didnt care what it sounded like and to just show her the final product once he was done, sayin she always likes what he comes up with.
If Madonna collaborated it could only be in regards to the writing of lyrics to a song. I dont think Mike would go the Madonna route. He already knocked her back when she tried to make In The Closet a suggestive homosexual themed song. She said "If you want that title the lyrics must live up to it"... and they did, but homosexuality was not required lol. Mike knows best. Madonna can continue kissing young hot pop stars to keep herself relivant, while Michael can continue making quality music. Compare Invincible to Hard Candy. There is no comparison music wise. None!
Tony R 14th July 2008, 12:31 PM I just did.
It's still better than Mike & Stevie though.
Anyway, to get back on topic. Mike & Madge could work on a mid-tempo R&B number.
Ellie 14th July 2008, 12:35 PM How about a nice little orchestral ballad about saving the world's children?
Tony R 14th July 2008, 12:36 PM I dont think it would work in the sense that Madonna isnt totally involved in the creation of her own music.
Except that isn't true. Sure, she's not as involved as Mike (pre-Invincible) but she's no puppet either. She co-writes about 90% of her own music and in fact holds the record in the US for most self-produced number ones by a female artist.
Madonna can continue kissing young hot pop stars to keep herself relivant,
Unlike Michael who's teaming up with will.i.am, Akon and Ne-yo?
Compare Invincible to Hard Candy. There is no comparison music wise. None!
On that we agree. Hard Candy is miles better.
damien 14th July 2008, 12:48 PM Except that isn't true. Sure, she's not as involved as Mike (pre-Invincible) but she's no puppet either. She co-writes about 90% of her own music and in fact holds the record in the US for most self-produced number ones by a female artist.

Pre-Invincible? Michael produced/co-produced every single track on Invincible and was part of the writing process on 14 of the 16. He gets credited with writing only Speechless and Lost Children coz those are the two no one else had input into, but everything else was co-written and produced by Michael Jackson as well. People dont even realise that.
As for opinion on the qualities of Invincible vs. Hard Candy.. we will obviously not agree so furthering that discussion is not worth it:) My opinion is that Hard Candy is aweful.
Ellie 14th July 2008, 12:53 PM Song credits don't mean much when there are more than 3 names on them. Heaven Can Wait and Whatever Happens for instance were pretty much complete when first presented to MJ and it was only a few twinges that he probably changed.
The worst for undeserved songwriting credits is Beyonce, and didn't Alicia Keys have "all songs written by Alicia Keys" on her first album despite there being cover versions there?
I still think Hard Candy is awful though, but Invincible isn't much cop either (although yeah, I prefer it). Both unmentionable lowlights in both their careers anyway and it's pointless arguing over which turd smells the best.

Ellie! No need.
The first paragraph is pretty much what I was going to write. Compare Mike's credits on most of Bad & Dangerous (written & composed (& sometimes produced) by MJ) to Invincible where many tracks involved more people than a Middle East peace treaty.
Joel Jackson 14th July 2008, 01:07 PM Pre-Invincible? Michael produced/co-produced every single track on Invincible and was part of the writing process on 14 of the 16. I'm gonna have to agree with big TR, I think that although Invincible has Mikes credits on most of the tracks, its his credits alongside many many others..whereas the like of Bad and Dangerous (going by memory) a lot of the credits above the tracks were solely Michael.
Hard Candy or Invincible...tough one..without being a biased MJ fan I think for quality of music I'd say Hard Candy.
dangerous_88 14th July 2008, 01:16 PM yes it is true. Madonna IS working on Michael's new album.
Her helpers are going to be Fred Durst of Limp Bizkit, Vile Vallo of HIM and Amy Lee of Evanescence.
They are hoping to build something unreal!

Do you have a source dude? Sounds like Michaels new album is going to have roughly 200 tracks, each a collaboration or duet. Cant wait! :wild:
dangerous_88 14th July 2008, 01:24 PM wow sorry if that was cruel, man but I was kidding lol :)
Joel Jackson 14th July 2008, 01:28 PM wow sorry if that was cruel, man but I was kidding lol :)
Lol I know bro I was being sarcastic
Ellie 14th July 2008, 01:35 PM I'm just pleased that 50 Cent mixtape stuff never came to fruition.
dangerous_88 14th July 2008, 01:41 PM Lol I know bro I was being sarcastic
omg lol i totally fell for it!
UGH!
you got me this time!
haha!
but there are all kinds of fans who'll believe in just anything.
and yeah that 50 cent TRIAL OF THE CENTURY WTF CRAP was hilarious.
Joel Jackson 14th July 2008, 03:18 PM omg lol i totally fell for it!

Yeah I'm still waiting for the Michael & 50 Cent album wheres that at?
Tony R 14th July 2008, 03:23 PM ^ In da club?
dangerous_88 14th July 2008, 03:54 PM haha lol tony you crack me up man
Joel Jackson 14th July 2008, 04:13 PM haha lol tony you crack me up man
 Don't encourage him
Tony R 14th July 2008, 04:17 PM  Don't encourage him
You love it.
YOU ALL LOVE IT.
And don't tell me otherwise.
Joel Jackson 14th July 2008, 04:33 PM Eat your cheeseburger
Tony R 14th July 2008, 04:40 PM Eat your cheeseburger
Excellent!
And it also struck me that that's a great name for the first single.
Joel Jackson 14th July 2008, 04:50 PM  Sounds like a ballad to me
dangerous_88 14th July 2008, 06:08 PM Yeah it is a ballad.
About how Madonna and Michael cannot compare musically and should not team up...
(yes I know he and Akon did)
Joel Jackson 14th July 2008, 06:34 PM Yeah it is a ballad.
About how Madonna and Michael cannot compare musically and should not team up...
(yes I know he and Akon did)
 Ok so where abouts does the cheeseburger fit in!?
I can think of a number of duets Michael has done that were with somebody nowhere near as musically talented as himself...Eddie Murphy...Rockwell...Akon....
Paul McCarteney and Michael were a good duo, though it pains me to say it because I dislike Paul. And I thought 'Just Good Friends' with Stevie was great...although I know some of you will disagree with me (Tony:glare:)
dangerous_88 14th July 2008, 06:47 PM The cheeseburger part comes at the end of the video when Michael shuts Madonna's mouth with a cheeseburger lol.
Em-Jay 14th July 2008, 06:48 PM Madonna rocks.
Carry on..
Tony R 14th July 2008, 07:06 PM Madonna rocks.
Carry on..
^^ Fact of the day.
Are we the same person?
dangerous_88 14th July 2008, 07:13 PM Madonna rocks.
Carry on..
i was joking.
i like Madonna, but not all of her stuff.
q gee 14th July 2008, 07:50 PM ^^ Fact of the day.
Are we the same person?
You are so witty, Tony R. Oh, man...this thread has been a fun read.
Em-Jay 14th July 2008, 08:44 PM ^^ Fact of the day.
Are we the same person?
lol.
I'm starting to wonder.
Georgina-x 14th July 2008, 09:11 PM I don't really want him to work with Madonna, I don't really like her that much, but its much better than someone like Akon.
Pompous Git 14th July 2008, 09:43 PM Don't care. Like me, for every comment that could be deemed as negative, she's made countless positive ones.
She may have made fun of his dress & appearance, but so what? Most importantly, she kept her mouth shut whenever asked about the allegations as she knew nothing about them.
Just to chime in, Tony...Madonna was very supportive of MJ in the news about LWMJ and she didn't like Bashir's editing job either.
I wouldn't be surprised if this is a rumour. If true, Madonna would be credited with giving MJ a hit the way Janet was with Scream. :hmm:
Can't see it myself. :no2:
Em-Jay 14th July 2008, 10:30 PM I've never understood why MJ fans don't like Madonna and probably never will. I like them both, they're both legends and there's no amount of abuse that will ever stop that from being true.
Kristie 14th July 2008, 10:37 PM I've never understood why MJ fans don't like Madonna and probably never will.
Probably because they're from the same time so they tend to be compared e.g. I was reading one variation on that article the Demise of the KOP and for no particular reason whatsoever the author decides compare MJ's health to 'Madonna who is about to embark on a successful tour'...or something along those lines. A similar thing happens with Prince unfortunately.
I'm not a big fan of Madonna's music but I do like her as a person - very intelligent gal. I reckon an upbeat collaboration between the two could work - MJ provides the music, Madonna provides the sass
This is one of the better rumours!
wes 15th July 2008, 02:17 AM It would be cool if true but I don't believe it
Em-Jay 15th July 2008, 11:00 AM There's very few people who can sample (for example) an Abba track and make it as popular as Madonna did with her Confessions album. THAT is how a come back is supposed to be done, that tour is easily on par with Michael Jackson and if you've not seen it you really shouldn't comment before you have. Totally blew my mind the first time I saw it.
dangerous_88 15th July 2008, 02:40 PM There's very few people who can sample (for example) an Abba track and make it as popular as Madonna did with her Confessions album. yeah i totally agree about the Confessions era, it rocked.
But Hard Candy era sucks IMO.
4 Minutes is easily one of the worst songs I have heard lately. Beat Goes On should have been the first single.
I f--king hate Timbaland,btw.
Kristie 15th July 2008, 05:54 PM THAT is how a come back is supposed to be done, that tour is easily on par with Michael Jackson and if you've not seen it you really shouldn't comment before you have. Totally blew my mind the first time I saw it.
...I'm not quite sure whether this was specifically aimed at me (?) But if it was, then I was simply saying that reporters like to compare MJ, Madonna and Prince together and it can sometimes irk fans (of any of the 3 artists) if it's done in a distasteful manner e.g. when commenting on matters like health. I wasn't attacking Madonna or her tour.
Gunjan 15th July 2008, 06:00 PM 4 Minutes is easily one of the worst songs I have heard lately.
Really? It's one of my favourite songs.
I think it would be great if Madonna worked with MJ, but I don't think its true. He's been rumoured to work with so many artists. :whatever:
dangerous_88 15th July 2008, 06:37 PM Well compare any of the song to Ray Of Light album, which is a masterpiece IMO and then you'll get what I am saying.
Madonna can't sing. That's a fact. But she has had some damn great songs. Swim is one of them for example. I wish she would give in to music more and her image less. Same goes for MJ. But I guess they are a bit in a "middle-age crisis" . Which is understandable. But take a look at Prince, he is still doin' his thing not caring about being modern.
tyff says whoa 15th July 2008, 09:04 PM Don't care. Like me, for every comment that could be deemed as negative, she's made countless positive ones.
She may have made fun of his dress & appearance, but so what? Most importantly, she kept her mouth shut whenever asked about the allegations as she knew nothing about them.
You love Madonna, don't you?
I don't know... I don't think her voice would work well with his.. =/
Unless she were doing some talking thing like on "In The Closet".
dangerous_88 15th July 2008, 10:23 PM You know what I don't understand... Why is it that when you are straight you can't like Madonna, I mean wtf, when has that become strange?
I know a lot of straight guys, including myself, who like Madonna.
Am I the only one here lol ? :)
Mulleno 15th July 2008, 10:33 PM You know what I don't understand... Why is it that when you are straight you can't like Madonna, I mean wtf, when has that become strange?

Tony loves Madonna, he's seen her loads of times and paid a lot of money to see her!
He is pretty gay though.

Straight guy right here. I like both MJ and Madonna, people have an issue with that then it's not my problem.
Mulleno 15th July 2008, 11:36 PM Straight guy right here. I like both MJ and Madonna, people have an issue with that then it's not my problem.
Agreed. I like both Michael and Madonna (wouldn't call myself a Madonna "fan", but I do like her music), I have actually gotten stick for it, but it really is other people's problems.
Getting back on topic.. I don't think a Madonna/MJ collaboration would work. Just my thoughts.
tyff says whoa 16th July 2008, 01:47 AM My thoughts as well, Owen.
aazzaabb 16th July 2008, 01:55 AM i think,if they did one track for mj's album it would work.even if it was just an album track.imagine that.mj & madonna having a none single on the new album.i think madonna has alot to offer.thats a selling point right there.
Robonics 16th July 2008, 02:12 AM Madonna has no skill at all.
Tony R 16th July 2008, 09:58 AM I've never understood why MJ fans don't like Madonna and probably never will. I like them both, they're both legends and there's no amount of abuse that will ever stop that from being true.
Unfortunately, many Michael Jackson fans don't like anybody except Michael Jackson.
There's very few people who can sample (for example) an Abba track and make it as popular as Madonna did with her Confessions album. In my humble, Madonna is approximately 17 1/2 times better than Michael live.
Well compare any of the song to Ray Of Light album, which is a masterpiece IMO and then you'll get what I am saying.
Madonna can't sing. That's a fact.
Hate Ray Of Light. Love Hard Candy. And the whole 'Madonna can't sing' thing is tired and untrue. She never had the best voice, but since Evita she's become a lot more proficient and always sings live nowadays. True, she's no Celine Dion, but who would you rather listen to?
Tony loves Madonna, he's seen her loads of times and paid a lot of money to see her!
He is pretty gay though.
Actually, I'm very gay. Ask my wife.
I hate f--king Timbaland,btw.
Well stop doing it then.
dangerous_88 16th July 2008, 12:32 PM Woah, Tony, why the fire man?
I just stated my own opinion, why be offended by it? :(
Plus, I didn't just say "Madonna can't sing, that's a fact." I added things after that.
Tony R 16th July 2008, 12:36 PM Sorry mate. Didn't realise it came across as fired up. Sure didn't mean it to be!
Apologies.
dangerous_88 16th July 2008, 12:58 PM no problem :)
but how can ray of light suck lol ?
j/k lol
Tony R 16th July 2008, 01:02 PM I never got into it. I don't know why it's deemed to be her best work.
I like the song RoL, Drowned World, Frozen and like you've said Swim, but they're okay. Nothing special.
Maybe we should bump the actual Madonna thread rather than clog this one up?
Reeta 16th July 2008, 01:09 PM Unfortunately, many Michael Jackson fans don't like anybody except Michael Jackson.
True. And I believe it is because they think no one can be so talented like Michael is, which is not true. I think Madonna is very talented as well as genius. Heck, if she wasn't talented she wouldn't be so succesful like she is now, still after years! And genius in way that she has collaborated with nowadays young artists and the result is her songs are number 1 hits. That's why I hope Michael would also do more songs with other artists. Not that I don't have any faith in Michael alone, but they know what type of music sells now and how to make 100% guaranteed dancefloor hits.
Actually, I'm very gay. Ask my wife.
Oh yeah, you are SO gay.
Tony R 16th July 2008, 01:26 PM ^ very true.
.....both points.
aazzaabb 16th July 2008, 01:39 PM Unfortunately, many Michael Jackson fans don't like anybody except Michael Jackson.
that is so so true.
also i agree that madonna live is pretty effing awesome.confessions tour was a masterpiece.:yeahbaby:

Em-Jay 16th July 2008, 02:23 PM Saying someone is "gay" because they like someone is incredibly stupid and actually shows that the person saying that has massive problems with his/her own sexuality.
I mean there are plenty of gay actors and actresses in Hollywood, if you're say a fan of Ellen DeGeneres, does that make you a lesbian? if you're a fan of Paul O'Grady (UK) does that make you gay? no it bleeding well does not. And what I want to know is who made the whole being gay thing an insult? every human is unique and has a right to his or her preference in anything and everything the world has to offer. It doesn't make them a bad person.
I know people who are gay and it so doesn't bother me in the slightest, and why should it?
Aaanyway.
I agree that some fans don't like and can't appreciate anything that doesn't have Michael's name on it. Which is a bit strange *shrugs and walks out of thread*

If the little "gay" rampage thing was aimed at some of us in this thread, chill out. We were joking and basically saying that people are silly for thinking that people are gay for their tastes.
I love Alan Carr, that doesn't make me gay at all.

I'm not sure I do. Ha!

aazzaabb 16th July 2008, 02:44 PM i guess i will:laughing:

from now on,all gay jokes directed at tony, forward them to me:laughing:
i always saw it as a form of affection:laughing:
dangerous_88 16th July 2008, 02:49 PM Homosexual, gay, call it whatever, I have nothing against it.
We are all human and I would never avoid someone because of their sexual choice, race, religion , whatever.
If I learned something from MJ then that is it.
Sorry for the off-topic :)
P.S. Now y'all got me confused, Tony are you gay or not ? lol
Mulleno 16th July 2008, 02:50 PM
Tony is not gay. He's married, I just called him gay because he liked Madonna (it was a joke).
dangerous_88 16th July 2008, 02:52 PM lol. :) :) :)
And btw, Damo, wbss21 is SUUUUUCH a tripper!
God! You can't say ANYTHING about other singers! Nobody is good except for Mike! lol

You're all gays.
Em-Jay 16th July 2008, 02:54 PM "We were joking and basically saying that people are silly for thinking that people are gay for their tastes"
Yeah and that was the point in my post, it wasn't aimed at anyone. It was MY point of view on the subject. Simple as that.
Tony R 16th July 2008, 02:57 PM Can we please stop talking about my sexuality on this thread.
I know what I am, as do my wife and boyfriend.
Now can we move on to the original topic.
PLEASE.
Mulleno 16th July 2008, 02:57 PM "We were joking and basically saying that people are silly for thinking that people are gay for their tastes"
Yeah and that was the point in my post, it wasn't aimed at anyone. It was MY point of view on the subject. Simple as that.
 So we had the same point, then?
Your post just seemed a little heated, that's all.
Anyway, I wouldn't mind Madonna and Michael perhaps having a duet, but nothing more, I'd even be a bit dodgy about that as we know how the Madonna/Prince duet turned out.
damien 16th July 2008, 03:01 PM lol. :) :) :)
And btw, Damo, wbss21 is SUUUUUCH a tripper!
God! You can't say ANYTHING about other singers! Nobody is good except for Mike! lol
oh im glad that someone agrees with me!
dangerous_88 16th July 2008, 03:09 PM yeah but there are MANY people like that. That's why I went wild on the wheelchair photos, because some ppl were treating Michael like God.
OK I'LL STOP I'LL STOP!
NO!
NO!
LET ME GO!
I AM NOT GOING BACK THERE!
AAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!
*runs out of thread hysterically*
mistermaxxx 19th July 2008, 10:20 PM if this was about 15-20 years back then i'd say yeah but not so much now.
Moonwalker5889 19th July 2008, 11:12 PM Ok guys, i don't know if this is true or not, but last night when i was at work i was listening to my local radio staion and they played Human nature and then the lady came bk and said what the song was caalled, then she said there was rumours going around that Madonna is to work on mike new album and also said New kids on the bloke witch we knew bout that anyway.
not every1 knew about the nkotb working on the new album...i didn't...until now...
when did this happened??
A duet would be great though...
true...
It probably won't happen. It'd be awesome if it did though.
yeah it would...
Sounds like Michaels new album is going to have roughly 200 tracks, each a collaboration or duet. Cant wait! :wild:
lol:toofunny::toofunny::toofunny::toofunny::toofun ny:
I've never understood why MJ fans don't like Madonna and probably never will. I like them both, they're both legends and there's no amount of abuse that will ever stop that from being true.
well said...
Heck, if she wasn't talented she wouldn't be so succesful like she is now, still after years!
true that:yes:
i would SO love it if he DID do a duet with Madonna...if that rumor turns out to be true that is...
and if it does i would only have to hope for a Prince and MJ duet...
MrMikeJ 20th July 2008, 12:34 AM I love Michael and Madona but Mike is my favorite
Luluvine 20th July 2008, 03:35 PM OKay I had a good laugh reading this thread... :toofunny:
I Love Madonna she is great. Her music is good she is a bad actress though. lol But I have been a fan for quite sometime now. Seeing her work with Michael would be pretty cool. She was suppose to do In The Closet with Mike, but he said she came off as being TOO SEXY! lol  The whole thing in the early 90's on how she went to the Academy Awards with Michael on how he dressed it more along the lines of her wanting him to cut his hair. lol SHE WANTED MICHAEL TO CUT OFF THE CURLS!!!!! Isn't that a sin in 50 states? I mean is that normal. I mean come on the CURLS!!!! :wild: .....OKay I am done. :D

whosbad 21st July 2008, 06:41 PM It sounds interesting (Michael and Madonna together!!)
Why not??? Anything would help him to get on top again!!! I mean, come on, thatīs Michael Jackson - the real King of Pop!!!
matt247 21st July 2008, 07:25 PM Ok guys, i don't know if this is true or not, but last night when i was at work i was listening to my local radio staion and they played Human nature and then the lady came bk and said what the song was caalled, then she said there was rumours going around that Madonna is to work on mike new album and also said New kids on the bloke witch we knew bout that anyway.
nah it's definitely a rumor started by madonna herself most likely.
She would do anything to gain publicity.. even start a rumor with that
baseball player and risk her own marriage and family. dont respect her
much and Im sure it's a lame rumor.. she wishes :whatever:

Yeah, you're probably right. Cos Madonna's had numerous number one hits and sell out tours all over the world for the last 7 years where as Michael's done what exactly?
madamgeneva 21st July 2008, 08:58 PM don't even go there, madonna had done better recently coz she hasnt had her name dragged thru the mud whereas michael has been to hell and back, so hu cud blame the guy for wanted to keep his head dwn and spend sum time with his kids and just for ur information Michael has more talent in his big toe than madonna does in her ENTIRE body afterall we r talking abt a woman hu relies on flashing her crotch at every oppurtunity!

i mean its MJ the King of Pop and Madonna the Queen of Pop...wow...2 have those 2 working together would be sooooooooooooo cool...
dreamon 22nd July 2008, 04:47 AM yes, it would be great :)
MJJvibe 29th July 2008, 08:54 PM I don't get Madonna b/c bk then she was making fun of mike and now she wants to work with him, if it was true.
Plus she wanted a bi-sexual theme for "In the Closet". But Michael staunchly refused.
outsiderinsider 29th July 2008, 09:19 PM all this off a comment by a radio presenter.when will some ever learn. you think of all fans mj fans would be the least gulible but nope they fall for it everytime
MJISHOT 29th July 2008, 09:22 PM I love Madonna, but id bet that rumour is complete and utter rubbish!
Richie_Boii 13th August 2008, 06:16 PM NAH I DONT BELIVE THERE WORKING ON ANYTHING
iboz75 13th August 2008, 07:06 PM Christ. She hasn't made fun of Mike. If we wiped every person off the face of the earth who made the odd negative comment. It would look like the set of 'I Am Legend'.
and it would be a much better world for it.
Tony R 13th August 2008, 07:10 PM Well, I wouldn't be here.
I'll leave it up to you to decide if that would be good or bad.
Chell 13th August 2008, 08:15 PM A world without Tony? I can't imagine it!
iboz75 13th August 2008, 08:22 PM My husband and 12 year old daughter would probally be gone too. No, I was thinking of people more like Diane Diamond and Barbara Walters.
Tony R 14th August 2008, 09:29 AM A world without Tony? I can't imagine it!
Me neither. I can't see me enjoying it.
DJ Gringo 14th August 2008, 09:32 AM Doubt it even more than the New Kids one.
Is there anyone who hasn't been rumoured for this project? Everyone from Leona Lewis to New Kids to Madonna.
A duet would be great though...
elvis........................:toofunny:
Killer Queen 14th August 2008, 11:56 AM ^^ And even THAT was once considered (stupid rumour of course) - a "back from the grave" type of duet thing, when MJ was married to Lisa Marie! :toofunny:
BenS71 14th August 2008, 08:19 PM Yeah, you're probably right. Cos Madonna's had numerous number one hits and sell out tours all over the world for the last 7 years where as Michael's done what exactly?
What has Michael done in the last 7yrs, well Michael's more important things in his live to attend to in his life such as having to go through the horrible child abuse investigation and trial. I think anyone with compassion for people would understand Michael not jumping straight in to his music career after such a horrible few years.
Besides next year will make 40's since Michael's first No.1 single I Want You Back with the Jackson 5. Talent, Success, Influence and Longevity Madonna can't touch Michael. I think after huge success in the 1970's, 80's and 90's (THREE DECADES) Michael deserves time out of the music business. Don't forget, for most of the 1990's, 1992-97 Madonna was seen as past it and a joke, it hasn't always been success after success for Madonna.
I hate the idea of Michael collaborating with Madonna.
Madonna is not a musician, so if she were go ever work with Michael it would be more of a master class tutorial for her because it would be Madonna learning from Michael. She has nothing musically to offer Michael at all.
Madonna was quite disrespectful towards Michael when she was inducted in to the Rock'N'Roll Hall of Fame this year. She wronly insinuated that Michael's ex manager Freddy DeMann left Michael to work for her, and she said the Michael Jackson in a high pitched voice in a very sarcastic manner. Compared to Michael she's a nobody in the music world.
tyff says whoa 14th August 2008, 09:24 PM PLEASE!
Let this be a rumour and stay a rumour.
lol

She did WHAT! She satirised Michael's high voice and I've been listening to her music all this time? What a b1tch. Excuse me while I burn all my Madonna albums.
Anyhoo, the rumour's not true so it matters not one whit.

so you wouldnt do her?
moonchild 16th August 2008, 12:00 AM How on earth can you say Madonna is a nobody in the music world she is one of the greatest entertainers of all time and she sure knows how to stay ahead of the game, her collaborations have all been major sucesses top 10 singles which is more than we can say for the T25 collabs.
mikey82james 25th August 2008, 09:08 AM i doubt it will ever happen
i would love it tho
Pompous Git 25th August 2008, 10:09 AM It would actually be a bad idea for Michael at the moment cos it will be Madonna who gets all the credit for any single success.
To my knowledge, Madonna was one of many celebs who defended MJ against Bashir's LWMJ edit job.
Tony R 25th August 2008, 10:11 AM Tony agrees with Gary on both points...can't....compute....
