Michael Jackson's Las Vegas home is now in good hands -- a fan of MJ's just plunked down $3.1 million to be the new king of the singer's old castle.

Problem is ... selling the house wasn't as easy as you think. One of the real estate agents tells us after Michael's death, tons of fans flooded the mansion pretending to be potential buyers ... but were lying just to get a peek at the King of Pop's old digs.

One deep-pocketed fan ended up being the real deal -- and ended up buying the nearly 16,000 sq ft. palace.

I just hate it when some people in the media made it appear that he spent his last years broke and saddled with debts , lived like a nomad who jump from one hotel to another because he doesn't have a place of his own and that he lived and died in a rented property, when in reality he still owned some properties and his debt wasn't that big like they all want us to believe.
I'm glad it was a fan who bought that property, I'm sure they gonna take care of it.

Well even if the guy that bought the house only likes a few Michael Jackson songs, he's still a fan. I think its quite possible that this guy could be a fan of MJ.

That being said, its still possible that he wanted the property without a thing to do with Michael (or even very little) because its a gorgeous home. The article never said that he bought the house because MJ owned it. It just simply said that a Michael Jackson fan bought his former home.

Its a beautiful home, but putting MJ's name on it could potentially be the selling point especially if the potential buyers like his music. Thats what could've done it for this guy. But the article doesn't give any details like that so we really don't know what his intentions were when buying the home.
