Fallen superstar Michael Jackson is back in the studio working on a new album, it has been claimed.

The ‘Thriller’ star, 49, has reportedly hired top producers RedOne and Akon to mastermind the new record. They started working together at the Palms recording studio in Las Vegas Wednesday.

“Michael is producing the album himself and then will sell it to a record company when he’s finished,” a source tells the New York Post newspaper. “Michael has banned his kids from the recording studio. He realizes this is very important and doesn’t want any distractions.”

The singer — who supposedly had been seeing his children’s nanny — has even put his love life on hold. “He’s not going to be involved in any personal relationships with women until he gets this record done,” the source said. “He’s dumped the nanny - she’s not around any more.”

He was in the Bahrain studios mid 2006, then Ireland for the last 3 months of 2006, Jan 2007 relocated to Caeser's Palace to record in Vegas closer to the collaborators, then Sept 2007 The Clinton Recording Studio in New York, then back to Vegas to Studio X at The Palms, and also attended will.i.am's home studio as well:)

Not true. The articles on the 02 have mostly been positive, yet we have been questioning that "news" for months now. :)

I dunno...maybe he doesn't want any distractions whilst he puts the finishing touches on the work. You can completely wreck a body of work in the last 5 minutes...arguably the final stage is the critical one.

Any kind of relationship with Grace of a personal nature has already been denied by Michael through Raymone Bain in Sept./Oct. 2007.

Grace is married to Stacey Adair. So, the Nanny wouldn't be a distraction in that way, but as she looks after the kids if he asks that the kids stay out of the studio then she will have to as well.

well he has always denied having any romantic relationship with the Nanny he has always stipulated that its purely professional.

As for his kids im a little unsure, I guess that could be possible to get this done and yes having his kids there could be distraction, and the studio is like any other workplace and parents don't take their kids to their work place. This is no different.

I have a very strong feeling myself that something is about to come out and Michael is going to shock us in a good way. I don't know what it is but I know its really really soon. I have had these vibes about Michael and not necessarily about albums and I have not been wrong yet!

So we will see.

We all know Michael is very busy working on wonderful surprises.

He would never ban his lovely children from his presence and his nannnie(s) have had more than enough of tabloid lies already.

As for Mr. Jackson's personal life, well that is his privacy and should be respected as such at all times.

I am a single parent myself and like Michael, I have had my fair share of uncalled for speculation. Why is it society in general is always highly critical of single parents?

Michael is a billion times over devoted to his family and they are always his top priority and number one love.

I came tonight based on the info here and I'm staying until tomorrow tonight; I've been to the recording studio already but so far no luck! I'm actually at work right now (been pulling 12-hour days!) but I'm gonna write up a blog or something to tell you guys all about the crazy experience at the Palms and I'll post my pix along with it but the main thing you all probably wanna know is this: I didn't get to see Michael!!!! :-(

I DID, however, go to the recording studio he's been working at there (the rapper Pras was recording at the time) and also found the suite he's supposedly staying at but the brief time I got to be there he was, unfortunately, nowhere to be found!!!!

I was there only from Wednesday in the afternoon till Thursday evening (GOD I wish I could've stayed longer!) Just the POSSIBILITY of getting to maybe see Mike was SOOOO EXCITING!!!!!!!!!

And now I saw that he's been spotted at the Luxor, ARRRGHH!!!!!!! IF ONLY I WOULD'VE KNOWN!!!!!!!!!! I love that hotel, it's where I stayed the LAST time I went to Vegas, but I didn't know MJ loved it too!
