In a short interview with the ‘London Lite’ newspaper, rock legend Slash has spoken briefly about his thoughts on Michael, with whom he collaborated with on both the Dangerous and HIStory albums, as well as in some live concerts.
The former Guns N’ Roses guitarist said, “I worked with Michael on his ‘Dangerous’ album in 1990 and in my mind he’ll always be a hero.”

love how no article will mention slash is on Invincible album though.. its almost as if that album never happened and its a figment of our imagination!

I've never been sure. Mike yells his name on Privacy, but Marni's told me before he wasn't on it.

Yes in Privacy he says his name before the guitar solo, and think about this... why would Mike say his name if he wasn't on teh album??? Just something to think about lol

Slash has already said that he didn't play on the Invincible album. I've proved that once before on MJNO.
At one point in 2000, Slash and MJ were in talks to have Slash record for the album, but schedules conflicted and the recording never happened.
Michael Thompson plays the guitar solo. Many Slash fans also know Slash doesn't play on Privacy and it's not even his style.

Yea...you're right.
Slash's style is a very primal, classic guitar hero style...not a GREAT solo, but one that perfectly compliments the song in question...
The solo in Privacy is none of these things...
IMO Slash is the last of the great guitar heros...

Woah, he was on the Invincible album? That I did not know.
Besides all that fuss, Slash is the man.

^^^NO - Slash doesn't play on Invincible at all. Confirmed by both Slash and the album credits booklet. Slash and MJ were trying to schedule a date for a recording that never happened.
